ABOUT RON GASTROBAR INDONESIA LAREN

After our success in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, it was a small step to Laren: 30.4 kilometers to be precise. In Laren, our Indonesian restaurant is located in the center of the village, on the Brink. Where you can hear the bustle and coziness of the historic village. Until you step inside… Then you end up in the quiet and tropical atmosphere of Indonesia!

THE INDONESIAN KITCHEN AT IT’S BEST

Also, here we have 2 different rice tables and many à la carte dishes such as; Daging Bakar (beef with pineapple and peanuts), the vegetarian Rendang Nanka (jackfruit and coconut), and of course sensational Indonesian street food such as Ayam Goreng (chicken, soy sauce and kunyit) or the Spring Roll Bebek (duck, rice vermicelli and spicy soy sauce).

Agus is the chef of Ron Gastrobar Indonesia. Chef Agus helps to devise and perfect new dishes, until it really suits Ron Gastrobar Indonesia. That’s why you have to go to him to ask what you really should taste when you eat at Ron Gastrobar Indonesia.

According to chef Agus you really have to taste the babi lapis! This is slow cooked pork belly with a sauce based on the traditional Balinese dish babi guling. Characteristic of this dish is the rich taste of the various spices that are used in it. From kemirin nuts and lemon leaf, to cloves, star anise and kenjoer.
